Yes. Steliara runs the consultation as a video call inside the workspace and records the audio once both sides agree. The recording is transcribed automatically and a short summary is saved on the profile of the person you read for, next to their charts and your notes.
That is the whole point of this page. Charts are table stakes, and so is a list of the people you read for. The part that still evaporates is the hour and a half you actually spent together.
Readings run one to two hours, often longer. Astrologers already tell the people they read for to record it, because anyone listening retains a fraction of what was said. The advice is so common it is practically part of the craft, which tells you the problem is real.
The trouble is who ends up holding the recording. You finish the session, the file sits on their phone, and when they book you again six months later you are the one working from memory. What did we cover. What did they tell me about their mother. Which transit were we watching in March, and did I say spring or autumn. Experienced astrologers forget what they said to whom, not through carelessness but through volume.
So the honest version of the job is not "record the session". It is: the substance of the session should still be here, on the right person's profile, the next time you open it.
If the person you read for records on their phone, that solves their problem and not yours. It is worth being precise about the difference:

A general recorder is genuinely good at recording. What it does not know is astrology: it cannot tell you whose chart the session was about, and it leaves the result in a fourth place you have to remember to look.

Steliara is not the widest calculator on the market and it is not the cheapest, so it is worth saying where you would be better served elsewhere.
Astrolium covers far more traditions. Their feature page lists Jyotish charts with vargas and dashas, Human Design, horary and electional work, time lords, astrocartography, numerology and 23 house systems, and they publish a free tier alongside plans at $11, $29 and $79 a month. If your practice lives in those traditions, or you want to start at no cost, start there. Checked on 24 September 2026, neither their feature page nor their pricing page mentions recording or transcribing a session.
Astrologer is the stronger choice if the painful part of your week is scheduling. Their page leads with booking tools and Google Calendar sync so scheduled readings stay in step with your own calendar, and it comes with a set of teaching lessons. Steliara is not built around a public booking page. On the same date, their page describes sessions only in terms of keeping them in sync with a calendar, not recording them.
The difference we would ask you to weigh is narrow and specific: when the reading ends, does the reading still exist anywhere you can use it.
