New moon and full moon 2026–2027: dates and your personal journal prompts

See where the next new moon and full moon fall in your birth chart and get a few gentle questions for your journal: an intention at the new moon, gratitude at the full moon.

Your birth data

Start typing a city: it sets the time zone and the rising sign.

Two ways to stay close to your own rhythm

The sky is not here to tell you what will happen. It can give you a moment to notice what is already asking for your attention — once at each new and full moon, or as a deeper story unfolding across the whole month.

Your Moon Letter

Twice a month, a short letter meets you at a natural turning point. It translates the new or full moon through your own birth chart and gives you a quiet place to hear yourself more clearly.

  • Your sky, in human languageSee which area of life this moon touches and why it may feel more alive now — without jargon or fixed predictions.
  • Questions that open somethingThree carefully chosen prompts help you name what you want, what has shifted and what you are ready to carry forward.
  • A journal that remembersYour answers stay together in a private journal, so a passing feeling can become a pattern you recognise over time.

Free, twice a month. A few thoughtful minutes that belong only to you.

New Moon in Scorpio, in your house 3

November 9, 2026 · 2:02 AM

This part of your chart holds the words you repeat, the questions you follow and the everyday conversations that quietly shape your choices.

  1. Which conversation have you been rehearsing in your head? Write the first honest sentence.
  2. What subject keeps appearing in your tabs, notes or saved posts? What might one focused hour with it open up?
  3. Finish this sentence: This lunar month, I am choosing to...

AffirmationI trust myself to say the clear, kind thing.

A journal that follows the Moon

Every month the Moon moves from new to full and back again. Many people use this rhythm for journaling: at the new moon they write down an intention, at the full moon they look back and note what they are grateful for.

We calculate the exact moment of every new and full moon with the Swiss Ephemeris and find the house of your birth chart where it falls. Each house has its own theme, so your questions change from month to month instead of repeating the same list.

What this is and what it is not

These are questions for reflection, not predictions. We do not tell you what will happen; we offer a rhythm, a few questions and an affirmation, and the answers are yours.

Your answers are saved in your journal so you can find them on any device. We also keep your email and birth data for the letters. You can delete everything at any time with one click.

Questions

When is the next new moon?

The table on this page lists every new and full moon until the end of 2027 with the exact time, and the next one is highlighted.

Do I need my birth time?

No. Without a birth time we count the houses from your Sun sign. With your birth time and place we count them from your rising sign, which is more personal.

What should I write at the new moon?

One intention in the present tense and one small step for the coming days. Your personal questions depend on the house where the new moon falls in your chart.

What should I write at the full moon?

Look back over the last two weeks and name three things you are grateful for. Your letter adds two questions for the house of the full moon.

Is it free?

Yes. The calculator and the letters are free, and every letter has a link to unsubscribe.
